Filming

The pictures above are ones we printed out to show the public. We would then record their reactions and use them as our vox pop. We also filmed another vox pop in which we asked "what do you think of tattoos?" and
this was used as our second vox pop.

We went to record an interview with a girl called Demi Smallwood who aspires to be a tattoo artist. She has already done tattoos on her self and her friends but one day wants to become professional. We chose to interview Demi for these reasons as we thought it would make for an interesting interview which it did. We asked her many questions, which she answered well. When we planned the interview we where going to have her sitting infrount of canvas's in an Art class room, but when we got there she had some of her own work set up, which we sat her in front of instead. We also filmed he tattoo equipment, including the needles and inks, and she explained how it all works, which we will use as cut aways. Other filming we got for cutaways are her tattoos and piercings.

We went to interview a tattoo artist where we asked him questions about his career, and filmed where he worked. We also got to film the equipment he used to do the tattoos.
We encountered a problem when interviewing the tattoo artist which was that the mise en scene behind him showed the edge of a doorway which could not be seen through the viewfinder. This means that we will have to zoom into the recording a little bit but it will affect the quality of the recording.

When we filmed our opening titles we faced a few minor problems. These included the person moving a tiny bit and would not be in the same position throughout and also it was time consuming as we had to record each letter on its own.
